Premium Warsaw operators work with three fixed packages. Prices are net of 23% VAT. All include CTR EPWA permits, OC liability insurance (Polish third-party liability), colour grading and music licensing for social media.
- ESSENTIAL - 1,200-1,800 PLN net. Up to 3 hours of ceremony and portrait coverage, 1 pilot, DJI Mini 4 Pro, 1 highlight reel of 60-90 seconds, 8 retouched 6K stills.
- SIGNATURE - 2,800-3,800 PLN net. Up to 6 hours: preparations, ceremony, reception, first dance. 2 pilots, DJI Mavic 3 Pro + Avata 2 FPV combo for a banquet hall walkthrough. 90-second cinematic edit + 9:16 Reels cut + 25 stills.
- DESTINATION - 4,800-6,500 PLN net. Full day of 8+ hours, multi-cam, ProRes 422 HQ master, travel beyond Warsaw: Konstancin, Pałacyk Otrębusy (palace estate near Warsaw), Puszcza Kampinoska, Karkonosze mountains.
4 factors that move the price the most
Flight zone and venue access
Inside CTR EPWA (Chopin Airport controlled airspace) and EPBC Babice, the permit surcharge is zero - it is included in the package. Łazienki Królewskie (royal park in central Warsaw), Wilanów and the Old Town require NOTAM coordination with PAŻP (Polish Air Navigation Services Agency) 7-14 days in advance, plus a separate permit from park administration (around 200 PLN). Weddings in Konstancin, Łomianki or Sulejówek carry no CTR surcharge, but travel is billed from 4 PLN/km.
Day of the week and season
Peak season runs from late April to mid-October, with Saturday carrying a +20% surcharge on the package base rate. Friday is +10%. Winter from December to March offers a 15% discount, but the risk of weather cancellation (rain > 5 mm/h or wind > 38 km/h) is 3-4 times higher.
Shot complexity
The standard "approach-orbit-pullback" scenario is included. A choreographed one-take FPV through the banquet hall, a drone-shot first dance flying through a decorative arch, or a synchronised firework display with a lighting drone adds +800-1,500 PLN. This segment requires a rehearsal the day before the wedding.
Delivery format
MP4 H.264 4K is standard. Add-ons: ProRes 422 HQ master +400 PLN, full RAW source files for your videographer +300 PLN, 9:16 Reels cuts for social +200 PLN, 360-degree aerial panoramas for a virtual tour +500 PLN, Dolby Vision HDR mastering +600 PLN.

How to compare quotes from 3-4 operators: a checklist
- Exact drone model and year. A DJI Mini 2 in 2026 is a red flag for a wedding: no ND filters and 11 stops of dynamic range versus 14 on the Mavic 3 Pro.
- EASA STS-01 or STS-02 certification on the specific pilot. NSTS has been invalid since 1 January 2026 - any operator stating "we hold NSTS" has not refreshed credentials for 2+ years.
- OC policy coverage. The legal minimum is 270,000 PLN. Mid-segment wedding services carry 1-2 million PLN. Premium operators carry 5 million PLN.
- Written cancellation policy for precipitation and wind. Without a formal protocol, date changes become a dispute.
- Backup pilot yes or no. On the wedding day a missed shot is not acceptable: a second certified operator with a duplicate aircraft must be within 30 minutes.
- RAW handoff. If the operator does not release native DNG and 10-bit MP4 H.265 files to your videographer, you pay for post-production twice.

- 80-guest wedding at Pałacyk Otrębusy: ceremony and reception across 6 hours, SIGNATURE package 3,200 PLN net plus an FPV walkthrough of the reception 1,200 PLN. Total 4,400 PLN net.
- Destination wedding for 25 guests in the Karkonosze mountains: 2 days (rehearsal dinner and ceremony) with overnight stay for the team, DESTINATION package - 6,800 PLN net.
- Budget scenario: a 2-hour ceremony in Łazienki Park plus 1 highlight of 60 seconds for Instagram, ESSENTIAL - 1,400 PLN net.
When the couple picks a drone operator at 600 PLN, in 4 out of 10 cases they come back to us a year later to reshoot the highlight. The footage simply does not hold up in the final cut - noise at ISO 3200, Mini 2 clips with no ND, and not a single backup angle from the reception.
Frequently asked questions
- Is there a discount for booking 2 weddings a year in advance?
- Yes. When booking two dates with a 30% deposit on each, a 10% discount applies on the combined package total. Conditions: both dates within the same calendar year and one of them in the low season (November-March).
- Which months are cheapest for wedding drone filming?
- January, February and March - package base rate minus 15%. Downsides: short daylight (sunset at 15:50-16:30) and a 3-4 times higher chance of date rescheduling because of snow or rain. For an indoor ceremony and a first dance in a banquet hall this is not a deal-breaker.
- What about an operator at 600 PLN - what is the difference?
- Four things: the drone (usually a Mini 2 or Mini 3 with no ND and no 10-bit), no backup pilot, OC at the legal minimum of 270,000 PLN and often no active STS-01. That setup works for a family home video, but not for a master that your videographer cuts into the final wedding film.
