Night flights and crowd overflight are filed as a special-category mission with ULC; distance and speed are constrained per scenario.
Each extra hour above the agreed brief is billed at an hourly rate agreed up front - no charge for downtime between blocks. In practice we usually stay inside the original schedule; the overrun rate is a safety buffer.

Deposit refund policy: 100% if cancelled 7+ days out; 50% for 6-2 days; same-day or 1-day notice — non-refundable (we’ve already raised the controlled-airspace permits, blocked the crew and bought batteries). Force majeure on our side — 100% refund regardless of timing.
Every event is covered by a minimum of 2 pilots and 2 drones, even if the brief calls for 1 drone. The second pilot handles hot-swap if a battery is depleted, signal is lost, or the programme is expanded on the fly. This is the standard for premium events with a live signal, where losing the shot is not an option.
NDI with MAC filtering and AES-128 encryption, or HD-SDI over BNC (a physical cable - 0 interception risk). LiveU/Teradek - with TLS 1.3 for intercom. Backup 4G channel in case of LAN dropout. Backup video recorder Blackmagic HyperDeck with a 256 GB SSD. No WiFi cameras.
Events with live broadcast need 21+ days for permits. Earlier is safer.
